OPTILAND SPEED CAMP POWERED BY OLIMPIC SAILS

An idea of ...

Massimo Giorgiani and Dragan Gasic, experts and the coaches of the Optimist and the 420 classes', started their experience in the eighties and gained till present days an international experience of absolute value.

Format

The formula of dividing participants in uniformed groups according to their age and skill, allows the following of the athletes in thorough way, according to their needs and time for all days of the meeting which is divided into two theoretical sessions: the first as the preparation and the second as the comment concerning the sea session.

Particular attention is dedicated to the preparation of the boat, the treatment of the materials and the organization of the water activities in order to optimize time.

Aims and the targets of the project

Aimed to boys and girls form the age of 9, seeks the transmission of passion for sea and sailing in its most playful aspects; an international aspect allows not only the technical exchange but also cultural, through the different ways of living sports and nature.

Assistance

Even though during the camp the boys and girls will be followed by the qualified and skilled instructors of the Italian Sailing Federation with many years of experience on all levels of activity, the presence of the parents or escorts is very much welcomed.

Boats in use

The potential boat charter could be arranged with the organising staff. There are around 20 complete Optimist boats available, sail excluded, at the cost of € 120.

Technical staff

With Massimo and Dragan, there will also be Mattia Pressich, four time world champion, and Tine Moze, coach of the Slovene 420 and Optimist national team, as well as Finn class competitor Massimo Giorgianni e Dragan Gasic tecnici ed allenatori della classe Optimist e 420 hanno iniziato negli anni ottanta maturando ad oggi una esperienza internazionale di assoluto valore.

General Rules

During the camps the boys and girls can leave the place only with their parents or with the authorized person in posses of the permit signed by the parents.

Safety

An adequate life jacket has to be worn all the time during the activities in sea.
Insurance

All the participants must have valid personal international third party liability insurance.

 Releasing declaration

The organizers of the clinics are not taking any responsibility for the damage to the personal items or the persons participating to the organized events. At the registration point all participants must have the releasing declaration signed by the parents or their tutors.

SCHEDULE

LIGNANO SABBIADORO Villaggio Sportivo GeTur - Junior Opti Camp 14 -19 June

In a beautiful surrounding of the pine trees dear to Hemingway there's a Ge Tour village, on the half way from Trieste and Venice there is an opening on the private beach provided with all the necessary services, plasticized slip roads to reach the sea, shelters for the sails and materials, current drinking water and also covered and opened swimming pools, watermarks with slides, gyms, match courses for many other sports and free time.

On the half way from Trieste and Venice, in a beautiful surrounding of the pine trees, there's a Ge -Tour village with an opening on the private beach...

Meeting Junior Opticamp

With your own boat and the nautical wear the beginning takes place at 4 p.m. on Monday, June 14^th, at the reception of the Ge Tur Village at Lignano Sabbiadoro (UD) in Viale Centrale 29. The quota for the entriy is EUR 550.- for the Junior Camp included  full accomodition and free entries for the park and coaching for 5 days.

LIGNANO SABBIADORO  Villaggio Sportivo GeTur - Senior High Level Opti Camp  27 June - 4  July 2010   

Meeting senior Opti Camp

Beginning takes place on Sunday, 27^th June,^, 7 p.m. at the reception of Ge Tur Village.

Inscription fee is € 670 for senior camp, including board and logging (4 beds room), transport by coach, inscription to the international Optimist regatta Trofeo Alex Moccia from 3rd to 4th July, 5 days coaching and 2 days of regatta.

Closing is foreseen for the Sunday evening of 4th July. For those who travel by plane: July 5^th after breakfast we'll arrange your arrival to the airport.

Garda Summer - Torbole sul Garda 4  - 8  August  2010   

Another wonderful place for sailing activity... As usual clinic will followed by high level international coaches. Accommodation will be in Hotel Villa Stella with swimming pool, fitness centre and meeting room. The entry fee is EUR 600.- included full pension accommodation and coaching.

Meeting point will be Circolo Vela Arco on 4^th of August at 18.00 o'clock. Departure day is 8^th August at 18.00 o'clock after the final briefing. If some of sailors would like to participate to Ora Cup which every year 200 boats starts; we are available for coaching.
