When Olimpic Sails was first founded in the 1980's, the first sails to be designed and developed were those for the 470 class. The reason is easy to explain: at the time the company's founders were champions in this class and obviously wished to race with their own sails.

Since then, our heart has always been very close to the 470 class, and the results achieved have been highly gratifying.

To avoid presenting a tiresome, long list of victories over these years, suffice it to say that our sails are now among the most used in the world.
