- You have to approach the forestay along the mast and mark it at the upper edge of the black measurement band (in line with boom attachment);

- Then you have to fasten the forestay to its position and obtain the measure of 1397mm from the pin center to the mark previously made, acting on the turning-buckle;

Now you can follow the tensions below, obtained with a LOOS tension gauge (mod.B). Tuned for 0 - 4 knots (25 - 16), you should obtain a forestay tension equivalent to full scale out plus 45 mm (act on both backstay turning-buckles to adjust this measure), as you can see in the image.
