The Olimpic Sail's will to start designing and carrying out of sails for the Star began when Luca Devoti, who had undertaken the activity in the Star paired with Diego Negri, asked us to commit ourselves in this new adventure. From Umberto RIghi's designs, Torben Grael's sailmaker for the golds won at Atlante 1996 and Athens 2004, in collaboration with the Olimpic Sail's designers, high-level sails came out, assigned to Torben Gael himself for further testing.

After the first positive impressions Grael and Ferreira decided to have deeper knowledge to the point of using it in the South American Star Championship 2010, out and out test bed, being practically the 2010 World Championship's preview.

The third place conquering was an extraordinary result which convinced numerous athletes, who sail in the italian national and international circuit, to choose our sails.
